2010 is the year of the Graduate Program!

Many companies are actively exploring the opportunity to start an in-house graduate program to ensure there is a steady stream of new talent entering the business.  Any organisation with an ageing work force will eventually need to look at integrating young talent into the work force as the next generation of management.

Many FMCG companies have been utilising ProGrad in 2009 to source graduates for their rotational graduate programs.  We have been fortunate enough to assist with the Nestle graduate program in 2009, and hope to extend our partnership with them once more in 2010.  We have several projects underway with many global FMCG companies in January and February which will ensure hundreds of graduates secure graduate opportunities in that space.

Due to the demands of our clients, ProGrad are moving into the arena of developing special projects for organisations, partnering with them to deliver in-house graduate programs.  For many organisations we deliver bespoke assessment centres, assisting the internal HR teams to select the best graduate talent.

We're also working to develop in-house training programs for our clients which can be delivered as part of a graduate rotation.  This ensures full flexibility with our training material, and the ability to make the material specific to a particular business.

As an additional offering, ProGrad are now providing a training course to assist in "managing a graduate".  This one day workshop is aimed at the line managers of recent university graduates - educating them about the basics of managing a young person, fresh in the work force.  This course has proven to be very popular with both existing clients, and new business clients alike.

2010 is set to be an exciting year with the growth and development of the ProGrad model.  We are continuing to increase our client base, our brand awareness and our ability to offering customised solutions to our clients.
