ProGrad see an increase in demand for graduates with a technical background
 
ProGrad have seen client demand soar for graduates who have a technical background looking to enter roles such as IT consultancy, Helpdesk, Technical Support and Pre-Sales/ Post-Sales positions.
 
Our background is within the IT and Telecommunications sector, and we have an established client base which includes organisations such as Microsoft, SAP, Dell, Citrix, and Sage.  We work with IT vendors, distributors and resellers too. 
 
Historically, ProGrad has specialised in assessing, placing and training graduates into corporate business development positions in roles such as business to business sales, account management, and marketing.  ProGrad has developed a highly recognised brand within corporations and it is associated with high calibre candidates, who have been effectively assessed and trained. 
 
We are now seeing an increased demand for more technical graduates from ProGrad.  As a result, we are now going to start running assessment days specifically for these positions. 
 
The assessment days will be a different format, and we will be assessing for core competencies, such as communication skills, effective questionning and listening skills, and problem solving ability.
