"I gained very valuable knowledge from two renowned sales experts"

“After finishing my degree I set out to find myself a marketing job. I soon found that landing a great job straight out of uni was harder than it looked; everyone was looking for someone with experience and despite how impressive I made my cover letter, getting through to an interview was virtually impossible. I applied for a marketing position being advertised by ProGrad and expected a similar response to what I’d received from other advertisers so you can imagine my surprise when I heard back from them a couple of days later. From the very first phone call everyone I spoke to at ProGrad was genuinely committed to helping me find a job. The assessment day was challenging but really informative. The ProGrad method for applying for a job made complete sense but was something we were never told about at uni. Had I not found ProGrad who knows how long it would have taken before I had any interviews! Going to interviews with ProGrad on my side was so much easier than if I had done it on my own. The team were always available to answer any questions, read over anything I’d prepared and practice any techniques I wanted like to improve.
Now I have a great job with Lifestyle_ where I’m responsible for all the marketing of a life insurance product that’s sold through mortgage brokers. I’ve learnt so much since I started at Lifestyle_ and am part of a great team. I love coming to work everyday and I’m doing things that normally only people with years of experience are expected or allowed to do. My relationship with ProGrad didn’t end as I shut the door to their offices and opened the one to my new job. I’ve undergone 2 modules of the 4 module ProGrad training program and gained very valuable knowledge from two renowned sales experts. I hear from my ProGrad account manager regularly and she’s always there if I have any questions or success stories to share.
I’d like to see where I would be right now had I not gone through ProGrad to get my first job as a new university graduate. I can’t imagine I’d be anywhere near where I am now!” | |
